The App may request your location to calculate reachable charging stations and route distances. Location data is processed locally on your device and never sent to our servers.

1.2. Device and Usage Data

We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect anonymized identifiers (such as your advertising ID) to personalize or measure ads. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for details.

1.3. Preferences and Settings

The App stores your language, theme, vehicle data, and preferences only on your device using Android’s SharedPreferences. We do not collect or transmit any personal information such as name, email, or location history.

2. How We Use Information

• To display relevant charging stations and travel estimates.
• To improve the user experience within the App.
• To show relevant ads through Google AdMob.

We do not sell, share, or upload any personal data to third parties other than Google AdMob.

3. Third-Party Services

• Google Maps API – Displays maps and calculates distances. (Terms of Service)
• Google AdMob – Displays advertisements. (Privacy Policy)
• GitHub Hosting – Provides charger data file hosting (no user tracking).

4. Data Retention

All user settings are stored locally on your device. We do not retain any user data on our servers. Clearing the App’s data or uninstalling it removes all stored information.

5. Your Rights

Since WattWhen does not store data externally, there is no data to export or delete externally. You can delete all App data via your device’s App Settings → Storage → Clear Data.

6. Children’s Privacy

WattWhen is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available within the App and on our official website or Play Store listing.
